TRIO NOTTURNO

Contemporary Chamber Ensemble -
From Classical to Contemporary Music

„World-class chamber music evening.”

Trio Notturno is an open chamber music ensemble that borrows its name from Franz Schubert’s (1797 – 1828) nocturne “Notturno”. The ‘tre Notturni’ dive into infinite musical horizons with Bettina Kuss on the violin, Klaus Kämper on the cello and Katharina Khodos on the piano.

Whether as a trio or in an expanded arrangement, their musical programming traverses all musical epochs. Classical piano trios by Brahms and Beethoven are accompanied by traditional alpine tunes and contemporary pop music. That’s right, Trio Notturno*** plays pieces from Mozart to John Lennon - folk music in the best sense of the word!

The ‘tre Notturni’ perform as a trio, solo or in other formations in venues such as The Nymphenburg Castle, at the Allerheiligenhofkirche or at the Domberg in Freising for concerts, matinèes, benefits or evening events.

• Bettina Kuss / Violin
• Klaus Kämper / Violoncello
• Katharina Khodos / Piano
